For 10 days, we drove around the Big Island of Hawaii exploring everything above and below the water. We made stops to stay in Kona, Naalehu, Mountain View, Hilo, Kawaihae, and plenty of places in between. We brought our own snorkeling gear so that we could hop in to the ocean anywhere we could. In that same bag, we packed our camping gear to spend a few nights under the stars at a beach park. Can’t wait to write about our adventures and what we learned along the way. Most notably, that the news sensationalizes the impact that the volcano and lava would have on our trip. Check out some of my favorite photos from the trip!
