Midweek MTB Race Series

Your heart rate is sky high, pumping at 170+ bpm for an hour straight. You’re chasing the rider in front of you, waiting for the moment to pass. You see the inside turn open up, you instinctually yell out, “On your left!”  You make the pass and then have your eyes set on the next rider a few switchbacks away. One down, and everyone else to go! That’s what it’s like, for me, riding in Utah’s Midweek Mountain Bike Race Series. From that description you’d think it’s some hardcore, CAT1 race series. Except, it couldn’t be anything further from the …

Explore Yant Flat (Candy Cliffs Utah)

Southern Utah is known for its incredible sandstone rock formations. Take Zion and Arches for example, known around the world for their iconic viewpoints and hikes. But with that notoriety comes an endless stream of crowds and lines; not to mention park fees and permits. What if I told you there was another place, equally as stunning, that you could have all to yourself. And plus, you’re allowed to bring your dog with you! Well guess what, that place not only exists, but we just spent the weekend there and it was jaw dropping. The place I’m referring to is …

Summer in a Ski Town

I never thought I’d say this, but I think summers in a ski town are equally as good, if not better than during winter. I get it, without the winter, these types of towns wouldn’t even exist. But my first summer up in Park City, Utah has been some of the most fun I’ve ever had. The crowds are gone, the temps are warm, and best of all, no passes required. Let me explain. After moving to Salt Lake in January, with only a 6 month lease, we packed up our stuff again in June. This time we were headed …

Looking Back on 2018 | A Year in Utah

This had been the most incredible, adventurous year of my life. To look back on these 365 days, I don’t even know where to begin. I guess, the obvious first step is January 1, 2018. After ringing in the new year in Quebec City, in below 0 temps, Court surprised me with dog sledding. Something I’ve never dreamt I’d get to do, turned out to blow my expectations out of the water. And that was only the first day of the year. From there on, it only got better. Zachary Kenney Hi there, my name is Zachary Kenney and I’m …

Guide: 1 Day in Bryce Canyon National Park

Whether you’re on a road trip to see the Big 5 National Parks in southern Utah, or you only have one day to see the park; Bryce Canyon can be done in a day. And as much as I advocate for spending more time in a place to really appreciate it, I understand that we may not have that luxury. So if given the opportunity, go spend the day here and you’ll witness one of the most beautiful places on earth, all within a short walk from your car. The entrance to the park is about 4hrs from both, Salt …

Sand Mountain | Little Sahara Adventures

The mountains of Utah are incredible. From the red cliffs of Moab, to the snow capped peaks in the Cottonwoods, they all offer some thing uniquely different to everyone. But when I came out to Salt Lake to visit my friend Luke last November, we took a spontaneous trip to somewhere neither of us had been before. That trip lead us down desert roads to probably one of the smallest mountain ranges in Utah. I’m talking about Sand Mountain, located in the Little Sahara Recreation Area. Getting here wasn’t difficult, but it was different. Hopping off the highways and onto …

Bryce Canyon National Park Adventures [Video]

Bryce Canyon National Park is by far the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen, topping all of the other 4 national parks in Utah. So when my buddy was in town, it was a no brainer to take him there to get his adventure in. Needless to say, he was living life elevated while in Utah.
