Latest Video Uploads

Over the last few weeks, I’ve been dedicated more mornings to editing a lot of the footage I’ve taking over the year. So far, I was able to finish the Oregon trip, two videos from a mountain biking trip to Grand Junction, and finally the video from January for Courtney’s Birthday down in Kanab. Hope you enjoy!

Van Life in Oregon

Like many of us, who have scrolled endlessly through social media seeing those incredible sprinter van builds, perched high over some scenic overlook, we too shared that jealousy. Which is why, we’ve twice now rented camper vans from Outdoorsy.com. With Covid canceling all our plans for spring and summer trips, we had to switch up our destination and decided to stay local and explore Oregon via a road trip! To make it even more exciting, we rented a built-out Ram ProMaster Van to live out of on the entire trip. 2,000 miles later, we can officially say Oregon is an incredible place. Unlike most of our big road trips, we were able to convince our friends Tyler and Jesse, with their dog Sierra, to join us in their van on the trip. The plan was to head out from Park City, UT on a Saturday morning, drive to Bend, OR, then head West to the Coast and explore a few beach towns, before heading north to the banks of the Columbia River and stay a few days in Hood River. It sure was a lot of driving, but every minute in the van was worth it.

Mountain Biking The Ribbon Trail

“Bing bang boom Rocks, desert, views! You’re going to love this trail.” The only description on TrailForks, and pretty much summarizes it! Long, open, desert slickrock allowing you to have as much fun on a bike as on an open meadow of fresh pow. It’s unreal, plus, the ability to go 30+ MPH on a mountain bike trail, in control, ain’t half bad. The Ribbon lived up to the hype, and I think it’s a top 10 trail in the world!

Sandboarding & Slot Canyons

For Courtney’s Birthday this past year, we headed down to Kanab, UT to do some sledding and sandboarding on the massive dunes. Then, later that day, we wandered across the desert to explore Peek A Boo slot canyon. It was an incredible time, being able to witness these canyons with snow in them. Kanab is an amazing place, and we love going back there. Happy Birthday Courtney!

Mountain Biking Lunch Loops

Lunch Loops have some of the Gnarliest riding I’ve ever done or seen. Trails we rode in the video are Eagle’s Wing, Lemon Squeeze, and Moto. So many options so little time! Every time I ride here, I’m blown away by how raw this place is compared to Park City, UT. Can’t wait to ride here again!
