Just a 1.5 hr train ride away from the exhausting weekend we had at Oktoberfest in Munich, rests a city at the foot of the Western Austrian Alps. That place is called Innsbruck. Simply beautiful. This is one of those places I’ve been, where the words to describe my first view of this place are difficult to formalize. As much as I hate falling into the trap of touristy packages that force you to stand in line for an hour to take the same exact picture as everyone else; this, was not one of those times. This was by far one of the best experiences I’ve ever had to pay for, and I would do it over again in a heartbeat. Picture yourself standing on the top of a mountain, in Iceland, surrounded by massive, white-capped peaks to the east, and an endless coastline to the west.
